Google Chrome 2 raises the temperature in the ongoing browser war

The new browser could be Google’s latest assault on Microsoft’s dominance, so this might be bigger than just another web browser entering the stage. It was developed after a complete rethink about what a browser should be able to handle these days, then the web is more complex and not only consists of simple text pages, but also rich interactive applications. In fact, the Chrome browser was the launch pad for the development of the new Chrome OS (Operating System) for Netbooks that are under development by Google.

Google used components from WebKit and Mozilla’s Firefox to develop Chrome. A browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology and runs advanced web applications much better. The browser window is streamlined and simple. The feature with each tab operating as a separate process makes it able to prevent one tab from crashing another and provide improved protection from malicious web sites. Each tab also has its own address bar, called Omnibox.

The open source software Google Chrome is under constant development, browser technology is no exception. They released the beta version for Windows to start the discussion and get constructive input. Now with the launch of Chrome 2, Google has created a fast, safe and stable challenger in the ongoing browser war. Their team is working on versions for Mac and Linux too, and will continue to make it even faster and more robust.

Firefox, Opera, Safari and Internet Explorer 8 have one very tuff nut to crack, no question about that. With the release of Chrome 2, Google - to a large extent - lives up to their promises of fast Java-script handling, security, extensions etc. It is still too early to tell if Chrome will stand out of the crowed as, the next generation of browsers for the next generation of web applications, because browser developers at Apple, Mozilla, Microsoft and Opera have all been very busy. Remember that many of its best features are already available in Firefox 3.5 and others. At the end of the day it is you who decide which browser is the best, download Chrome 2 and see if the Google browser gets you where you want to go.

I think that Chrome still has a long way to be really competitive, its initial release is still has many bugs and not user-friendly, very basic functions, unorganized, not customizable...
But it's a promising browser and will be one of the top in future.

I love Google Chrome. It is the fastest, lightest browser I've ever used. It has great new features that make it very flexible like the separate browsing processes and the way it remembers your browsing history. Everybody at work is using it. I hope that in the NEAR future they add compatibility for Active X, Flash, and Adobe Air because some multimedia sites still won't open. Anyway it's the best browser ever!

Amazingly fast but hungry

At first glance, Google Chrome is not much to the world. Once you've downloaded the new Google browser, you'll find that there is not even a menu bar. In addition to the address bar, there are some navigation buttons, address bar, and two menus for settings and bookmarks. But it looks nice though.

I like the start page that is using a smart feature that shows thumbnails of the most visited sites. Believe that they have got the inspiration from the Opera web browser. A similar function is also available in Firefox add-ons.

When I start browsing with Google Chrome, it’s very fast. The pages loads at a furious pace and are presented very quickly. Chrome is based on the same engine as Apple's Safari, and I experienced the same thing when I tested Safari. In the beginning, it appeared to be very fast. But once I start opening up multiple tabs and have more than four sites open at the same time, it starts to take its toll on the computer.

One of the strengths of Google Chrome is that it creates its own processes for each tab, which means that if a page crashes in a tab, it does not close the whole program down. However, there is a drawback to this, and it is that the program consumes a lot of internal memory and processing power.

In short, download chrome: If you do not usually have so many sites open, Chrome is amazingly quick and easy workable. If you are used to surf with a lot of tabs open, you must have lots of computing power.

When I start
Uggs On sale browsing with Google Chrome, it’s very fast. The pages loads at a furious pace and are presented very quickly. Chrome is based on the same engine as Apple's Safari, and I experienced the same thing when I tested Safari. In the beginning, it
appeared to be very fast. But once I start opening up multiple tabs and have more than four sites open at the same time, itUgg Boots starts to take its toll on the computer.
